Hello Mountaineer fans!

Thanks to all of our members who helped to create another great year for the Central Virginia Chapter of the West Virginia University Alumni Association.

The coming year promises to be even more exciting for your chapter, West Virginia University, and our beloved Mountaineers. Below are some of the accomplishments your membership made possible from the past year, along with reports on various activities.

Like WVU, our new fiscal year starts on July 1 so we’re kicking off our annual membership drive now. It’s time for our current members to renew and friends of the association to become paid members to help support the chapter’s mission, and especially for all to participate in the upcoming activities and mingle with fellow Mountaineers from Central Virginia.

Membership Dues

• Dues help the chapter sponsor events such as game watch parties, social functions, scholarship fundraisers, and community services initiatives. Dues also help offset the costs of operating the local chapter, including recruiting new members, mailings, tax filing, web hosting, and other essential administration.
• Central Virginia Chapter dues are only $30 for individual membership and $15 for up to four additional memberships on a yearly basis. The chapter’s fiscal year is July 1 – June 30.
• The chapter is run entirely by volunteers, like you. No member receives any payment for work on behalf of the Central Virginia Chapter.

• In-Person – At any event the chapter hosts, approach a board member to fill out the form and make a payment.
• Web Form – Fill out, save, and send a Membership Form via email to centralvirginia@wvuchapters.com . Then, select a membership type to pay via PayPal (below).
